How to Install CAW
A CAW module is a “Create a World” additional software component for the Sims 3 computer game. Several CAW modules are available for download on the Web. CAW installation files are included in one executable (EXE) file. Download and save the EXE file to your desktop to prepare for the installation. Once you have installed the CAW, be sure to update your Sims 3 software with the latest security updates and patches.

Open a web browser and navigate to the site from which the CAW installation file will be downloaded. Click the “Download” link or button and then click “Save” to save the file to your hard drive.

Double-click on the executable (EXE) CAW file. The installation Welcome screen opens. Click “Next.”

Click the “I Agree” button to agree to the Terms and Conditions of the software, and then click “Next.”

Click “Next” at each prompt to install the program using the installation defaults. Click “Finish” when the installation is complete. The CAW is installed.
