How to Keep Baseball Caps From Wrinkling

There's no denying that occasional washing is necessary, but it takes its toll on baseball hats by causing shrinking and wrinkles. Things You'll Need
- Baseball cap
- Stain treatment
- Mild laundry detergent
- Rags, T-shirt or towel
- Dishwasher
- Paper towels

Carefully Wash

Spot treat the hat for any particular stains.

Stuff the cap with an old t-shirt, rags or a towel.

Place the hat on the top rack of your dishwasher. Don't put dishes in the dishwasher while washing the cap. Wash several caps at once, if necessary.

Fill dishwasher with mild dish detergent.

Run the normal dishwasher cycle.

Remove the cap and the wet rags or other materials you used for stuffing.

Dab the hat all over with dry paper towels to soak up excess moisture.

Put the hat on a drying surface, inside or outside, for 15 minutes.

Put the damp hat on your head. Wear it until it's fully dry. It won't lose its shape or wrinkle.
