How to Make a Lollipop Tree for a Carnival
Lollipop trees, sometimes called lollipop stands, add a festive touch to carnivals. They make sweet decorations for display tables and bring a touch of colorful, childhood magic to carnival decor. Lollipop trees are often used for a variety of games at carnivals, and their bright colors are sure to attract kids of all ages. Using a Styrofoam cone for the form of the lollipop tree saves time from cutting wood or gluing together sections of cardboard. Does this Spark an idea?

Secure a long section of ribbon to the top of the cone using hot glue. Angle the ribbon downward and wrap it around the tip of the cone in a spiral.

Continue to wrap the ribbon around the cone tightly. Secure it to the cone with dabs of hot glue as you work your way toward the base. Cover the cone completely with the ribbon so that none of the Styrofoam shows.

Trim any remaining ribbon at the base of the cone and secure the end of the ribbon to the cone with hot glue.

Insert the lollipop sticks under the edges of the ribbon and into the Styrofoam cone. Push the lollipops in at a downward angle of 45 degrees. Start at the top and continue inserting the lollipops until you reach the base. Cover the cone with lollipops on all sides.
