How to Modify Text in EPS
Files with the EPS file extension are vector Encapsulated PostScript files. In order to modify text in EPS files, create and save the EPS files using an image editor or drawing program that is designed to work with EPS files, such as Adobe Illustrator. When you create an EPS file in Illustrator and then save the EPS file as an Illustrator EPS file, you can reopen the EPS file using Adobe Illustrator and modify the text in the document.

Right-click the EPS file to show the File context menu.

Click the “Open With” option in the context menu. A window containing installed programs opens.

Scroll to and click on the “Adobe Illustrator” option. The EPS file opens in Illustrator.

Click the “Text” tool from the Toolbox and then click on the text to change.

Drag the cursor over the text to change, and then type new text over the existing text block.

Click the “File” option on the top navigation bar, and then click “Save” to save your changes.
