Grasp the handle of the bread pan firmly. If the handle is hot, use a hot pad to protect your hands from burns.

Pull straight up firmly to remove the pan from the breadmaker. You may need to exert a moderate amount of force to dislodge the pan from the appliance.

Twist the bread pan clockwise about one-eighth turn if your Oster Breadmaker has this design. After twisting the bread pan, you will feel the pan align for removal. Pull the pan straight out and firmly.
