How to Block Spam Emails From Gmail on Android
Your Gmail account will filter your incoming emails for spam before delivering them to your Android device, but if you receive a lot of spam, some may leak through. If you receive spam emails, the Android Gmail client allows you to block and report the spam messages.

Open the application screen on your Android device and touch "Gmail." Some devices have a shortcut to the Gmail client on one of the home screens.

Open the inbox and check the box next to the spam message. If you have multiple spam messages, you can check them all individually.

Press the "Menu" key and tap "Report spam." The Android will move the message thread to the Spam folder and all future messages will be delivered to Spam.

Tips & Warnings
You can also report a message as spam while viewing the message. Press "Menu" and tap "More," then touch "Report spam."
