How to Change an Inglis Washer Drain Hose
The drain pipe at the back of your Inglis washing machine is used to pump dirty water out of the appliance into the drain standpipe. The pipe is used several times during the course of each cycle. You might need to install a new Inglis washer drain hose if the current one is split and leaking water. Replacement parts are available from Whirlpool, Inglis' parent company. Pull the draining end of the drain pipe from the standpipe or laundry tub and remove the plastic curved support, if necessary.

Pinch the the metal clasp attaching the drain pipe to the washing machine with pliers and pull downward. The pipe detaches from the washing machine.

Insert the draining end of the new drain pipe into the standpipe or laundry tub and attach the curved support.

Pinch the new clasp with pliers and place it over the washing machine end of the new drain pipe.

Connect the pipe to the washing machine while still holding the clasp open with pliers. Release the clasp once the pipe is in place to hold it on the washing machine.
