How to Give a Wedding Toast for the Person Who Introduced the Couple
When writing a memorable wedding toast, start with an anecdote or story. Talk about how you introduced the happy couple. Allow up to three minutes for your speech, but don't go too short and skimp on the details. Use a note card with the details of the speech to lessen any anxiety. Your speech will be a success so long as it is genuine and loving.

Introduce yourself to the guests, and state how you know both the bride and groom. Since you introduced them, presumably you met both of them long before the wedding day. Give some details about your history with them both, especially those anecdotes that lead up to the fateful meeting between the bride and groom. If the groom was convinced that he'd never meet the perfect girl, or the bride had dreamed of her ideal beau only to find the complete opposite in her groom, it heightens the romance of their meeting. Share one or two short anecdotes of their lives before they met, but avoid mentioning previous romantic partners.

2
Tell the story of how you introduced the bride and groom. You have a story that no one else can share, and that story directly led to the wedding. Talk about what was it like when the two met, if it was love at first sight, and if you predicted that they would get married. Include both details of the meeting, and the thoughts the couple shared with you in the days that followed.

Share your hopes for the couple's future, and thank them for letting you be present at the beginning of their story and the chapters that have followed. At the conclusion of your thoughts, lift your drink to toast to the happiness of the couple and encourage guests to follow your lead.
