Instructions

  1. Make the Bracelet

      Measure around your wrist. Double the measurement and add 4 inches.

      Cut three pieces of embroidery string to the total measurement.

      Gather the ends of the string together and lay them in a straight line on your work surface

      Fold the strings in half and make a 1 inch loop at the end. Tie a knot with all the strings below the loop to secure it. This will serve as one part of the closure.

      Gather the the strings in three sections with two strings in each group.

      Braid the three sections together twice.

      Slide a bead onto one of the strings and press it against the braided section.

      Braid the three sections together twice again.

      Repeat Steps 7 and 8 until you have 3 inches remaining on the strings at the end. Tie a knot with all the strings again to finish the braiding.

    Finish the Bracelet

      Separate the strings into two sections of three strings.

      Braid the three strings of one section together. Tie a knot at the end to secure the braid.

      Repeat Step 2 with the other group of strings.

      Place the bracelet on your wrist.

      Slide one of the braided ends through the loop at the other end of the bracelet.

      Tie the two braided ends together to fasten the bracelet.

Tips & Warnings
