Instructions

    • 1

Clean off the area on the bow or front of the boat where you are going to install the anchor roller. Find a spot near the center, but one where the weight is evenly distributed on each side. Wipe it down with a clean rag and remove all dirt from the area.

    • 2

Mark the area with a pencil where the weight is evenly distributed and where you will install the anchor roller. Set the anchor roller down in place and attach a 1/4-inch drill bit to a power drill.

    • 3

Press the drill down firmly in place on the boat and drill straight through the pre-drilled hole in the anchor and into the boat. Repeat the process for all of the other holes on the anchor roller.

    • 4

Attach a Phillips head drill bit to the power drill. Set the anchor roller at the desired installation location over the pre-drilled holes. Hold it in place so it does not move during installation.

    • 5

Press sheet metal screws into the pre-drilled holes. Secure them in place with a power drill until they are flush with the opening on the anchor roller. Repeat the process for all of the other pre-drilled holes until the anchor roller is secure in place.

Tips & Warnings

  • The installation point of the anchor roller may not be the direct center of the front of the boat if the weight is not distributed evenly on the boat. Therefore, installation can take place closer to one side than the other.
