1
Place the bed's headboard against a wall -- so that while reclining, you can see the bedroom door and still access the bed from each side. Your feet, however, should not face the door, because that is the death position in feng shui. Proper placement gives the bed the feng shui command position in the room.
-
2
Hang mirrors behind or beside the bed, because feng shui states that mirrors reflect energy. Any photos or artwork should also be hung over the bed and the scenes should be calm and not chaotic.

3
Decorate the room with warm earthy tones, such as browns and off-white. This includes the bed, which should be wood.
-
4
Strengthen your chance at love by placing images that represent love in the southwest corner of the bedroom. Use happy or sentimental images, such as photos with your spouse if in a relationship or romantic places like Paris. Avoid images of water, such as lakes, which can cause sleepless nights.
-
5
Use bedside tables with edges that are rounded instead of square to not cut off the chi. Matching bedside tables should be used on each side of the bed if it sleeps two people. In feng shui, this promotes protection and stability in the relationship.
-
6
Decorate with accessories and accents in warm skin tones, such as browns. This includes everything from throw pillows to floor rugs.
-
7
Place lamps in the bedroom so they're not in the west or northwest corners. If this placement happens, your problems will be magnified. Create passion and fertility in the bedroom by using a red-tinted bulb in the lamps.
