How to Import EPS in Maya From CS2
Adobe Illustrator CS2 will export EPS files that can be imported into Maya. However, there is a trick to exporting an EPS file from Illustrator CS2 to Maya. First of all, if you simply export an EPS file for the current version of Illustrator an error message will display when you attempt to open the file in Maya. You must export the EPS file for an earlier version of Illustrator such as version seven or eight. Maya will then open the exported EPS file.
