How to Make a Cork Reindeer
Instead of throwing your bottle corks away, you can put them to use and turn them into an adorable cork reindeer. Alternatively, you can head to your local craft store and pick up a pack of corks to complete the craft. Making craft reindeer is particularly appropriate during the winter months when people begin decorating their homes and businesses with reindeer decorations in celebration of Christmas. Place your homemade cork reindeer on your mantle or beneath your Christmas tree to help your household get into the holiday spirit.

1
Use a push pin to carve four small holes into the bottom of a large cork where each of the reindeer's four legs will go. Make each hole large enough to insert a pipe cleaner and about 1/8 inch deep. Carve two more holes into the larger of the two flat ends on a medium-sized cork for inserting the antlers.

2
Cut six 1 1/2-inch pieces of brown pipe cleaner for the legs and antlers. Apply hot glue to the end of each pipe cleaner, one at a time, and insert each one into one of the holes you carved in Step 1. Cut small, 1/2-inch pieces of pipe cleaner to wrap around the tips of the antlers to create a branching-out effect.

3
Carve a hole into the tops of four small corks and then glue each cork to the bottom of one of the pipe cleaners representing the reindeer's legs. These small corks serve as the reindeer's hooves.

4
Hot glue two googly eyes and a small red pompom for a nose to the medium-sized cork representing the reindeer's head. The googly eyes go on the rounded portion of the cork, while the pompom goes on the smaller of the two flat ends. Super glue the reindeer's head at a slight downward angle to the large cork, which represents the reindeer's body.

Glue a brown pompom to the back of the large cork for the tail.
