How to Auto Unfollow Quitters on Twitter
There are a number of Twitter users who follow other users just to get followed back out of reciprocation. After they're followed back, these users then unfollow the users they previously followed. They believe that, by artificially pumping up their follower count while keeping their own following count low, it makes them look more influential on the service.
