How to Glue Tulle to Jeans
Tulle, the open mesh fabric commonly used to make tutus and veils, can be an interesting addition to a pair of jeans. For a simple no-sew project, glue strips of tulle to your jeans' hems to make a ruffle. Tulle can be glued around the waist of a pair of jeans to make a jean-tutu hybrid, or over a hole in the knee for a pretty and unusual patch. This basic craft technique does not require any special skills, and the necessary glue can be found at any craft supply store.

1
Determine where you want to glue the tulle. Cut strips of tulle fabric to fit the length of the desired area.
-
2
Plug in and heat up a hot gun, or uncap a container of fabric glue. Use a glue gun if the jeans are only going to be worn a few times with the tulle, since hot glue does not withstand regular machine washing. Fabric glue should be used for projects you will wash and wear many times.

3
Apply a small dot of glue to the jeans. Line up the tulle with the jeans, as you want it to be attached, and press the tulle to the glue.
-
4
Apply another dot of glue next to the first dot, and press the tulle onto the second dot of glue. Continue gluing in this manner until the complete length of tulle is glued to the jeans.
-
5
Allow the glue to dry before wearing the jeans.
