How to Deodorize a Gucci Bag

Deodorizing a Gucci bag allows you to restore your bag's condition to its natural and clean state, giving it a fresh and improved look. Things You'll Need

• Damp cloth
• Leather conditioner
• Glycerin
• Paintbrush
• Tea dregs
• Newspaper
• Lemon essence spray

Instructions

1. Use a damp cloth to wipe the outside of your leather Gucci bag, ridding any foreign material or odors that may be lurking on the purse's exterior. Dab a bit of leather conditioner onto the damp cloth and wipe the exterior of the bag again, polishing and cleaning the surface entirely.

2. Apply glycerin lightly to the leather parts of your Gucci bag using a paintbrush, carefully avoiding over-saturating the bag. Rinse the glycerin off of the leather using warm water.

3. Sun-dry a handful of tea dregs and place them in your leather Gucci bag for two days to help absorb the odors from within.

4. Crumple pieces of newspaper into balls and place them into your Gucci bag, filling the interior. Allow the newspaper to sit in the bag for at least 24 to 48 hours, giving it time to absorb any scents and odors inside.
