Instructions

    • 1

Cut the stems of several types of dried herbs, such as oregano, basil, cilantro, lavender, chamomile and mint, to 4 inches in length. Secure them with twine to create 6 or 7 bundles. Gather one type of herb per bundle, or mix them for a varied look. Tie the bundled stems with twine and cut off the excess twine.

    • 2

Place a few dabs of hot glue onto the back of one dried herb bundle and press it onto a 12-inch straw wreath base at a slight left angle.

    • 3

Continue gluing the herb bundles onto the wreath base at slight left angles until the perimeter is covered.

    • 4

Glue dried chili peppers to the wreath to add a pop of spicy color. Apply hot glue to the backs of the peppers and press them directly onto the dried herbs at random locations.

    • 5

Insert a wire wreath hook into the back of the completed craft for hanging.
