Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a purple leotard in the correct size. Use a glue gun to attach fake purple jewels around the neckline and sleeves. Circle each jewel with silver puff paint to help secure them and add some extra sparkle.

    • 2

Measure how long you want the princess skirt to be. Double this measurement and add 2 inches to it. Cut out 50 to 100 pieces of purple tulle 2 inches wide and matching the length measurement you determined.

    • 3

Cut a piece of elastic to match the measurement of the princess' waist and sew the ends together. Fold each piece of tulle in half over the top of the elastic and tie loosely underneath. Continue with each piece of tulle until you have a full skirt.

    • 4

Roll a large piece of purple cardstock into a cone shape with the widest point at the bottom matching the princess' head. Secure the cone on the inside with tape. At the point, thread a few long pieces of tulle through a few inches and secure them inside the hat, allowing most of the tulle to hang out the top.

    • 5

Punch a hole on each side of the hat, just above the ears. Thread a piece of elastic through one of the holes and tie it. Attach the other side of the elastic to the hole on the other side.

    • 6

Attach fake jewels to the hat with a hot glue gun. Apply purple puff paint to add extra embellishment.
