      Shape air-dry modeling clay into a bar shape that's slightly longer than the length of the bobby pin. You can make it as wide as you like, but make sure that it's slightly wider than the width of the bobby pin. You can also add decorative touches, such as different colored dots of modeling clay. If you want the tie bar to have a design, use a toothpick to draw a pattern.
