How to Dye Pasta for Necklaces With Vinegar
Uncooked pasta can be dyed using a mixture of vinegar and food coloring and then used for kids' projects such as beads for a homemade necklace. You can choose from the various shapes of dry pasta available in stores and the colors from food coloring. The colored pieces can then be arranged on a cord to make a necklace.

Let the pasta shapes soak in the dye for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove them from the dye and arrange them on wax paper to dry; the wax ensures that the pasta pieces will not stick to the paper.

Leave the pieces to dry overnight before threading them onto cord.
