A bundt pan takes the guesswork out of making a perfect ring-shaped wreath. Things You'll Need

  • 10 ounces marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Green food coloring
  • 5 cups puffed rice cereal
  • 1 cup green, leaf-shaped gumdrops or green candy-coated chocolates
  • Bundt or tube cake pan
  • Red gumdrops
  • Spatula
  • Red candy rope
  • Cake frosting

Instructions

      Melt a 10-ounce package of marshmallows with 3 tablespoons butter in a microwave-safe container on high power for three minutes.

      Stir green food coloring into the melted marshmallow mixture until it reaches a bright green color.

      Mix 6 cups puffed rice cereal, such as Rice Krispies cereal, and 1 cup green leaf-shaped gumdrops into the green marshmallow mixture.

      Rub the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter on the inside of a bundt pan or tube cake pan.

      Drop red gumdrops into the bottom of the prepared cake pan in the center of the base. Place them at regular intervals in a circle to make the ornaments on the wreath.

      Press the cereal mixture into the pan with the back of a buttered spatula.

      Cool the treats for one hour at room temperature.

      Flip the pan over to remove the cereal treat wreath.

      Tie a piece of red candy rope into a bow.

      Dab a drop of cake frosting onto the center knot in the bow and press it onto the candy treat wreath.

Tips & Warnings

  • Spread green cake icing over the finished wreath and attach the red gumdrops and candy bow to the icing for an alternative preparation.
