How to Add a Box at the Top of a WordPress Blog to Subscribe to the RSS Feed
WordPress automatically creates an RSS feed from your blog's content, and your readers can subscribe to your posts using RSS software and email clients. However, readers unfamiliar with WordPress may not be aware of this feature unless you inform them. Add a box with an RSS subscription link to the top of your WordPress website to let your readers know how they can receive your latest content.

Tips & Warnings
If you use a third-party service such as Feedburner to syndicate your blog's content, use the URL of the Feedburner feed rather than the built-in feed generated by WordPress when creating the subscription link.
