Instructions

    • 1

Take the back off of the picture frame. Remove the glass and set aside.

    • 2

Lay the fabric on a flat surface. Place the picture frame glass on top of it, and draw the outline of the glass onto the fabric. Remove the glass.

    • 3

Place the paper on a flat surface and use the glass to draw an outline. Draw three different sizes of mushrooms centered in an area outlined. Use this drawing and transfer paper to place the drawing on the fabric.

    • 4

Place the fabric in an embroidery hoop with the design centered in the mushrooms.

    • 5

Embroider the outlines of each mushroom. Fill in each mushroom with a different shade of yarn.

    • 6

Remove the fabric from the embroidery hoop.

    • 7

Wrap the fabric design around the cardboard insert that comes with the picture frame. Center the design in the front. Flip the fabric and cardboard over and trim the fabric, and glue it down to the cardboard.

    • 8

Put the design into the frame, and replace the frame backing.

    • 9

Seal the flower pots with sealant. Sketch the outlines of mushroom on the flower pot, and fill in the outlines with differing shades of paint. Paint a sealant coat over the art work.
