How to Kill a White Space in Cold Fusion

Cold Fusion is a Web programming language that represents itself in code. You can quickly add or remove white spaces from your cold fusion document using a text editor program such as the built-in Windows "notepad" utility. Changes to white space characters will not alter your code's function but will help to improve readability.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the Start menu and type "notepad," then click "Notepad" from the list of results.

    • 2

Click "File," then "Open" and select your ".cfm" file from your hard drive.

    • 3

Click "Open" to open the file.

    • 4

Click the area to the right of the white space character you would like to remove, then press "Backspace" on your keyboard.

    • 5

Click "File," then "Save" to save your document.
