How to Naturally Exfoliate the Lips
Though lips are not often considered part of the skin, they are, and just like any other part of your skin, your lips can benefit from a little exfoliation. Dead skin cells will build up on your lips over time. Those dead skin cells may not cause acne or other skin problems like they would on other parts of your skin. The dead skin can, however, leave your lips feeling rough, and can show up when applying lipstick and other lip products. Does this Spark an idea?

Make a Scrub

Mix oil and sugar together in a bowl. The sugar will act as an abrasive to remove dead skin cells, and the oil will add help moisturize the lips.

Use your finger to rub your lips with the mixture.

Lick the mixture off, or remove it with a cloth if you do not like the idea of eating dead skin cells.
Toothbrush

Apply petroleum jelly to your lips and let it sit for a few minutes.

Use a toothbrush to rub the lips, much like you would use a loofah to rub other areas of your skin.

Wipe any excess petroleum jelly away with a cloth, and rinse the toothbrush well.
