Instructions

    • 1

Place the spool of thread on the spool pin. The pin is on the top of the machine on the right hand side. Pull the end of the thread, it should unwind towards the left.

    • 2

Pull the clutch out. The clutch is the knob located in the center of the hand wheel on the right hand end of the machine. This stops the needle from moving while the bobbin is winding.

    • 3

Pull the end of the thread through the bobbin winder tension disc. The disc is located on the left hand side and resembles the top of a screw.

    • 4

      Thread the bobbin.

    • 5

Place the threaded bobbin on the bobbin winding spindle. The end of the thread should be coming out the top of the bobbin. The spindle is located on the top of the machine, on the left hand side in front of the spool pin.

    • 6

Push the bobbin winder spindle to the right. It will click when it is in place.

    • 7

Hold the end of the thread and press the foot pedal as if you were sewing. The machine will stop automatically when the bobbin is full.

    • 8

Push the bobbin winder spindle to the left to release the bobbin.

    • 9

Cut the thread from the top of the bobbin and the thread between the bobbin and the spool of thread.

    • 10

Push the clutch in. Remove the bobbin.

Tips & Warnings

  • Do not load more the one thread onto a bobbin. It can cause tension problems while you sew.

  • The bobbin won’t wind unless the clutch is pulled out.

  • The machine won’t operate unless the clutch is pushed in.
