Instructions

    • 1

Lay the canvas flat on a table and paint the entire surface using an acrylic paint in a background color of your choice, like blue or green. Let dry.

    • 2

Lay the wolf stencil over the canvas. If you can not find one at a local art store, make one yourself by tracing the image of a wolf onto a sheet of cardboard and cutting the tracing out.

    • 3

Trace the outline of the wolf stencil onto the canvas, using a pencil. Remove the stencil.

    • 4

Fill in the wolf image using shades of acrylic paint in white, gray, brown and black, blending the colors to make a texture like the wolf's fur.

    • 5

Paint the wolf's face using a thin paintbrush and acrylic paint to create the eyes, nose and mouth of the wolf.
