Chain five using your coffee colored yarn. Join with a slip stitch to form a ring. Chain one, single crochet 12 around. Join with a slip stitch. Chain four. Skip the first stitch. Loop the yarn over the hook and draw up a loop three times in the same stitch. Repeat through seven loops on the hook. This will be referred to as a puff stitch throughout the pattern. Chain one. Double crochet one, chain one. Repeat from the first puff stitch five times. Work one puff stitch, chain one, join with a slip stitch. Fasten off.
