1
Brush your hair to remove any tangles. At this point you will want to decide if you want to create a high ponytail, low ponytail or side ponytail. The high ponytail is at the crown of your head, the low ponytail is at the nape of your neck and the side is secured under your left or right ear.

2
Pull your hair back into a ponytail using the hair brush or your hands. The hairbrush will give the hair a more sleek style, while using your hands will give your hair a more casual and loose style. Secure the hair with a ponytail holder.

Separate the hair into three sections; A,B and C. Braid the hair by crossing strand C over B and pulling snug, cross A over C and pull snug and cross B over A and pull snug. The pattern consists of pulling the left strand over the center strand (B) and then the right strand (A) over the new center strand (C). Repeat the process of pulling the right and left strands over the center until the tail is braided.

Tips & Warnings
When braiding to the side of your head you will want to braid over your left or right shoulder, not down your back.
