How to Get Frostwire on iPhone

Save

To add FrostWire music files to your iPhone you could transfer them to your iTunes Music folder, then sync the device. Syncing isn't always ideal because it replaces everything on your iPhone with the files stored in iTunes. This means if you remove something from iTunes or your PC it is also deleted from the phone. The practical way to sync your FrostWire downloads is by copying the individual files directly.

Things You'll Need

  • USB cable
  • iTunes
  • Plug the cable into your phone and plug the other end to your computer.

  • Launch iTunes or download it from Apple.com if you do not already have it.

  • Open the folder that contains the files. The default folder is "Your_Username" > "Documents" >"FrostWire " > "Saved."

  • Right-click the task bar and click "Show Windows Side by Side."

  • Click the FrostWire window to select it, then click "Organize," "Select All."

  • Click and hold the left mouse button on the highlighted files and drag them to the iTunes window.

  • Hold the cursor directly over your iPhones icon shown under "Devices" in the left pane.

  • Let go of the mouse button once you see a plus sign over the device. The files copy to the iPhone and the progress is monitored in the status bar at the top.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you can't find your downloads open FrostWire and click to highlight each song you want. Drag them to the iTunes window in the same manner.
