How to Track Facebook Account Activity by IP Address Like Gmail

Facebook has a feature similar to one in Gmail that enables you to see the location from which your account has been accessed, along with the IP address of the computer that was used. This is useful to check for unauthorized access to your account. You may also want to use this function to sign out of sessions if you forgot to do so on a public computer or one that you are no longer using. This information is found under your Account Settings page in your Facebook account.
Step 1
Log in to your Facebook account. Click the arrow to the right of the "Home" menu in the top navigation bar.
Step 2
Click "Account Settings" and select "Security." Click "Active Sessions." A list of recent account sessions is shown.
Step 3
Put the mouse cursor over the location given for a session but do not click on it. The number to the right of "Location estimated based on IP" is the IP address for the session.
Step 4
Click "End activity" next to a session to log out of your account on another computer that was used to access your account in the past. End all of the sessions to sign out of your account on all other computers.
Step 5
Click "General" on the left to change your password if your account has been compromised. Click "Password," enter your current password and a new one twice. Click "Save changes."
