How to Make Your Friends List Not Visible to Your Friends on Facebook
The Facebook friends list is displayed in your profile's sidebar, but you can restrict access to your list if you wish to keep this information private. The Facebook security settings restrict friends list access to several different user levels, so you can remove the ability for your friends to see your friends list if necessary. Other security options include only allowing people on specific lists to see the friends list or restricting it from public view.

Log in to your Facebook profile. Click your name in the upper right corner to load your profile page.

Click "Edit Profile." Click "Friends and Family."

Click the icon to the right side of the Friends section. Click "Only Me," "Custom" or a specific list of friends to restrict your friends list to only those people. The "Only Me" setting does not let anyone other than you view your friends list, while custom lists keep this information displayed to certain groups of friends. You can also edit your relationship and family lists in this fashion.
