Sepia tones, such as those available on the Canon SD1300, give photos a different look and feel.

Among the features on some of today’s digital cameras are shooting and image modes that used to have to be added through expensive computer software or camera equipment. Among those popular modes is sepia, which applies a redish-brown hue to photos, giving them an old-time look and feel. The Canon PowerShot SD1300 is one of the cameras that gives you the option to shoot your photos in sepia mode and uses no extra software or equipment to do so.

Instructions

    • 1

      Turn your Canon SD1300 on.

    • 2

Press the “Func/Set” button, which is located on the back of the camera, in the center of the circular control buttons.

    • 3

Press the down button, directly below the “Func/Set” button, to the “My Colors Off” option, which is the image of a bell with the word “Off” over the top of it.

    • 4

Press the right button, directly to the right of the “Func/Set button,” three times so that the sepia option is highlighted. The sepia option is the image of a bell with “Se” on top of it.

    • 5

Press the “Func/Set” button to select the sepia setting and you will return to the main shooting screen.
