How to Adjust Adobe Reader to Create Smaller Print Jobs
Adobe Reader X lets you change the size of PDF document's pages to guarantee accuracy when printing smaller print jobs. The software's page scaling feature allows you to shrink a larger document to your preferred size, as well as ensure smaller documents print without any distortion. You can select the proper paper size for your document from within the page setup section of the print settings.

Open Adobe Reader X.

Click "File" located in the program's menu, then select "Open."

Locate the file you want to print and click the filename to select it. Click the "Open" button.

Click the "Print File" icon found in the top toolbar.

Click the "Page Scaling" drop-down menu and select "Shrink to Printable Area."
