      Open the engine compartment of the Freightliner. Remove the negative battery cable with an adjustable wrench.

      Locate the Freightliner's wiper motor mounted on the driver's side of the engine compartment, near the wheel well.

      Unplug the electrical wiring harness from the Freightliner's wiper motor.

      Remove the bolts holding the motor in place. Set the new motor in position and tighten down the retaining bolts with the wrench. Plug the new wiper motor into the wiring harness.

      Reconnect the Freightliner's negative battery cable. Start the truck and test the new wiper motor.
