How to Keep the Yahoo Screen at Full Size

When you close a browser window, Windows automatically remembers the browser window size, and opens it in that same size the next time you run the program. If you find the browser window is not maximized when you open your browser and visit your Yahoo! home page, you can simply resize the window, and close the browser to save the settings so that it opens in the size you prefer each time thereafter.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch your preferred Internet browser. Do not open multiple instances of the browser.

    • 2

Resize the browser to full size by clicking the maximize button in the upper-right corner of the browser title bar. The maximize button appears between the minimize button and exit button and has an icon with a square in it.

    • 3

Click the close button to close the browser. Your computer will automatically remember the browser size. The close button is a red button with an "X" in it in the upper-right corner of the browser title bar.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can also double-click the browser title bar to make it full size, or hover your mouse pointer over the bottom-right corner of the window and drag the window to the bottom-right corner of the computer screen to resize it.
