1
Cut four 12-inch pieces of your string. Line them all up evenly and tie them together at one end. Tape the knot to a table or a book.
-
2
Separate your thread into two sections. The section on the left should have three strings and the section on the right should have one.
-
-
3
Lay the single thread across the other three, forming approximately a right angle. This creates a loop between the two groups of thread. Pass the single thread under the other three and through that loop. Pull tight. The thread will slide to the top and create a knot.
-
4
Make five more knots. They should be immediately next to one another, making a solid line of knotted thread.
-
5
Spread out your threads and pull the two center ones together. Apply one bead to the center threads and three to each of the single threads on the side. Repeat Step 3. Pull the knot firmly enough so that the outer beads bunch together, forming a circle. This is your first rose.
-
6
Make five more knots, then repeat Step 5. Continue in this pattern until you have made three roses and the bracelet is the desired length. Make three more knots, then make a simple overhand knot with all of the threads. Trim off the excess thread, leaving an inch or so to tie it on your wrist.
