How to Get Rid of a Brothersoft Toolbar

The Brothersoft toolbar is available for Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple's Safari. The toolbar is sometimes bundled with other downloaded software. You can remove the Brothersoft toolbar through your Web browser interface, or you can remove it in the Control Panel. You cannot uninstall the toolbar through Internet Explorer; use the Control Panel if you are an Internet Explorer user.

Instructions

Using the Web Browser

1. Open Mozilla Firefox and click on the "Tools." Click on "Add-ons" and then click "Extensions." Click on the Brothersoft toolbar. Click "Remove" to remove it from Firefox.

2. Open Google Chrome. Click on the "Wrench" button and then click on "Tools." Click on "Extensions." Browse through the list until you find the Brothersoft toolbar. Click on "Uninstall" beneath it.

3. Open Safari. Click on the "Gear" icon then click on "Preferences." Click on "Extensions" and then click on the Brothersoft toolbar. Click on "Uninstall."

Using the Control Panel

1. Click on the Windows "Start" button. Click "Control Panel" on the menu sidebar.

2. Click on "Uninstall a Program." Click on "Brothersoft Toolbar" to highlight it.

3. Click on "Uninstall" and then click "Next" to remove the Brothersoft toolbar. Restart your computer when prompted.
