The Canon Pixma MP210 Photo All-In-One Printer produces photo-quality color prints while still being usable for standard document printing. Setting up the printer to print only in black conserves color ink so you won't run out when you need to print your color photos. Although you can access the printer preferences from any print-capable application, accessing it this was only turns off color for that one print action. To change the default settings so you only print in black, you need to access the printer options from "Devices and Printers" in Windows 7.
Click "Start" and select "Devices and Printers."
Right-click the Canon Pixma 210 Printer and select "Printer Preferences."
Click the "Main" tab from the Printing Preferences window.
Click "Grayscale Printing," then click "OK."
Tips & Warnings
