How to Curl a Freetress Selena Wig
The Freetress Selena wig is a synthetic lace-front wig that has a bob style and shiny fibers that feel and look like real human hair. The wig is pretreated to recurl at the ends after you shake it out with your fingers, but if you want additional curl up the entire strand, you will need to use a curling iron. Since synthetic fibers are incredibly sensitive to heat, you will need to follow specific instructions to avoid damaging the Freetress Selena wig while you curl it. Does this Spark an idea?
Instructions
-
-
1
Place the Freetress Selena wig on a wig stand so you have easy access to all angles.
-
2
Detangle the wig gently using a wide-toothed comb.
-
-
3
Heat your curling iron on the "Low" setting.
-
4
Take a small section of hair in between your fingers and dampen it using the mist of a plastic spray bottle filled with water.
-
5
Clamp the end of the strand in-between the tong and body of the curling iron and wrap the barrel upwards so that the hair curls around it. Hold the iron away from the lace cap to avoid burning it, but not so hard that you are pulling excessively on the delicate fibers.
-
6
Release the strand of hair from the iron 15 seconds.
-
7
Repeat with other strands of hair until the wig is curled to your liking. Use your fingers to move the curls around the head, but do not brush or comb them.

Tips & Warnings
No matter how careful you are, exposing the synthetic strands of a Freetress Selena wig to excess heat will eventually end up damaging it. Try to refrain from styling the wig often to avoid melting the fibers which will cause the hair to appear frizzy.
