How to Sync FileBrowser & iTunes on an iPad
You can sync your iPad with your computer to transfer your multimedia files from your iTunes account and other files such as documents, PDFs and other files using the FileBrowser application. While the iTunes synchronization is native to the iPad, you will have to configure your computer's sharing preferences in order to sync with the FileBrowser app on your iPad.

Connect the USB cable to the port on the bottom of the iPad and insert the other end into an open USB port on your computer. iTunes will open once the connection is recognized.

Click the "iPad" option under the "Devices" section in the left side of the iTunes window. The iPad window will open. Click the tab for the type of files that you want to sync to your iPad. For example, click the "Applications" tab to sync apps to your iPad or click the "Music" folder to setup which music to sync for your iPad.

Click the "Apply" button to sync the files to your iPad.

Click the "Start" button and click "Control Panel." Click "Network and Sharing Center." Click the "Change advanced sharing settings" option in the window that appears.

Click the ""Turn on network discovery" in the "Network Discovery" section and click the "Turn on file and printer sharing" in the "File and Printer Sharing" option. Click "Save Changes."

Close the window and open the Start menu again. Click the "Computer" window. Browse to a folder you want to sync with your iPad. Right-click the folder and click "Properties." Click the "Sharing" tab and click "Advanced Sharing." Click the box for "Share This Folder" and click "OK."

Open the "FileBrowser" application on your iPad. Tap the "Edit" button in the "Machines" section of the apps interface. Type the name of your computer into the "Address" field and enter the Windows username into the "Username" field. Tap the "Password" field and enter the password for your Windows username. Tap "OK."

Tap the name of your computer in the "Machines" section and click the folder you want to sync to your iPad. Tap the "Copy" option to copy it to your iPad's hard drive.
