How to Dry Ornamental Oranges With the Skin Cut
You can use ornamental oranges, such as sour or Seville oranges, for decorative and craft purposes. You can dry ornamental oranges by cutting them into slices and baking them in an oven for several hours. The orange skins, or peels, will take on a leathery appearance and feel, making them ideal for craft projects. You can used the dried, preserved oranges to make festive Christmas tree garlands, wreaths or potpourri to use as home decor or gifts.
