Removing the Porcelain Links From an Android Watch
You must size your watch correctly so it does not hang on your wrist or cut off circulation. A number of Android watches have ceramic links connected by pins. You must remove the pins to in order to take off links and re-size the strap. This can be done with basic household tools. Does this Spark an idea?

Put the Android watch on and close the clasp. Pinch the watch band so that the watch sits firmly and comfortably against your wrist. The number of links that you hold in the pinch is the number of links that you need to remove.

Look on the underside of the Android watch band. The removable links are marked with arrows etched into them, showing the direction to push the pins out.

Insert a punch into the small hole on the side of the link. Use the hammer to punch the pin out of the other side with the collar. Separate the ends of the Android watch band. Punch out the pin attached to the end link and remove the link. Remove as many links as necessary.

Realign the ends of the Android watch band. Push the holding pin back into the hole on the side. Place the collar in the link pin hole with tweezers. Tap it into place with the jeweler's hammer. Do not use the hammer to hit the clasp end link as this is a much weaker point. Put the watch on to test the fit.
