How to Make Baby Covers for Grocery Carts

Things You'll Need
- Two pieces of fabric, each measuring 45-inches-by-45-inches
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Sewing machine
- Elastic band or drawstring

Trim the corners of the fabric into rounded corners. Cut two leg openings on one piece approximately 12 to 15 inches from the bottom edge. The size will vary depending on the size of the grocery cart you want to cover. Cut two leg openings on the other piece of fabric about 16 to 20 inches from the edge. Hem the openings.

Match up the leg openings on the fabric pieces and sew the right sides together. Leave 1/2 inch unsewed between the leg openings.

Turn the fabric right side out by pulling it through one of the leg openings. Sew the leg openings together using a basting stitch. Thread an elastic band or drawstring through the 1/2-inch opening to complete the cover.
