Instructions

    • 1

Set the two main beams in the area on the floor where you want to place your bed. Unfold the cross beams.

    • 2

Connect the headboard brackets to each shoulder end of the main beams if applicable. The brackets are usually attached by sliding their holes onto the main beams' rivets and securing the brackets with nuts and bolts. Each main beam should have a headboard bracket attached to it at the same end.

    • 3

Slide the rubber end caps onto the ends of the beams without headboard brackets.

    • 4

Connect the two beams by connecting their cross beams. One cross beam will have slits, while the other cross beam will have rivets. Determine the size of your bed, and then insert the appropriate rivets into the corresponding slits. Two rivets should slide into two slits on each cross beam. Repeat this step with the crossbeam on the opposite end of the bed frame.

    • 5

Insert the support beam -- if there is one -- horizontally in between the two main beams. Secure the support beam to the main beams with nuts and bolts. Your metal bed frame is now assembled.
