How to Install HTML Code on a HubPage

How to Install HTML Code on a HubPage thumbnail
Use the HubPages capsule feature to present HTML code.

If you have a HubPages account and write about HyperText Markup Language (HTML) topics, you can install HTML code on your Hub. Typically, when you try to display syntax on the Web, the browser literally renders the code so that it makes it part of the Web page. HubPages make it convenient to publish your code because you can enter it in a capsule, which automatically presents the tags that you enter. Use the capsule feature in your account to post HTML code on your Hub.

Instructions

    • 1

Log into your HubPages account and click the "start a new hub" link in the top menu bar to begin a new Hub. Alternately, click the "Your Hubs" link on the right and click the "edit" button next to your desired title to modify an existing page.

    • 2

Click the "code" link under the Add More Capsules title on the screen that appears. Scroll to the bottom of your page to find the new code capsule.

    • 3

Click the "Edit" button on the capsule to display the code dialog window. Select "HTML" from the Code Type drop-down menu and enter your HTML code in the provided text box. Type a label for your code in the Capsule Subtitle text field, if preferred.

    • 4

Click the "Save" button on top of the window.
