How to Make a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Gift Basket

Give a gift of chocolate and peanut butter to a candy-lover for a special occasion. Reese's peanut butter cups are peanut butter-filled cups covered in chocolate with a distinctive orange wrapper around a brown paper cup-covered candy. These candies make the filling for a gift basket made to look like a peanut butter cup.

Instructions

    • 1

Glue, using low-temperature hot glue, dark brown tissue paper to the inside of the basket to resemble the brown paper cups surrounding the candies.

    • 2

Turn the basket over and attach the candy wrappers to the outside of the basket in a collage with low-temperature hot glue. Let the glue dry.

    • 3

Brush two layers of white school glue over the candy wrappers on the outside of the basket to create a protective coating over the wrappers. Let the glue dry between brushing on a second layer.

    • 4

Tie a ribbon around the outside of the basket, gluing it into place with hot glue.

    • 5

Tie or glue a large, orange gift bow to the orange ribbon on the basket.

    • 6

Fill the basket with Reese's peanut butter cup candies in their wrappers.
