You can use Illustrator's tools to remove the border on any image.

Adobe Illustrator is a vector-based graphics application used to create content for ads, signs and other printed materials, as well as web page layout elements and countless other items. While the program itself does not produce raster images like JPEGs, you can incorporate these images into Illustrator documents. You can even crop out sections you don't want. For example, if you have an image with a border you want to remove, this is easily done in Illustrator.

Instructions

    • 1

Load the image onto your computer.

    • 2

Start Adobe Illustrator. Click “File” in the menu at the top, and click “New.” Type in the width and height of the document, and click “OK.”

    • 3

Select “File” from the menu, and choose “Place.” Go to and import the image you loaded. Position the image where you want it on the canvas.

    • 4

Select the “Rectangular” tool from the toolbar, and draw a rectangle over the part of the image without the border.

    • 5

Change to the “Selection” tool, and select both objects on the canvas. Select “Object” from the menu, and click “Clipping Mask.” From the Options, click “Make.” The border is gone. Save your work.
