How to Make a Chinese Staircase Bracelet With Two Colors
Friendships bracelets are popular among young people. They may be traded to show friendship or to mark special events. These bracelets are made from any kind of string or cord available, including embroidery thread, yarn, hemp and gimp. The Chinese staircase is one of the easiest knotted designs to make because it is made entirely of a single type of knot.

Put the color B you have been using back with the rest of the strands. Use the long strand of color A to tie the next 10 knots. Repeat, changing colors every 10 knots, until the bracelet is long enough to make a circle that will slide over your hand.
