      Place the clean, dried onion on a cutting board. Remove the rough exterior shell, but be careful not too remove too much.

      Cut the onion in half from the top to the bottom. The end result should resemble the two halves of an orange. Cut this portion into three or four wedges or more depending on the size of the onion.

      Place the onions on the grill, in your favorite appetizer or toss them in the base of a roaster cooking a delicious turkey or roast.
